- ものごころついた頃、服やバッグを買いにショップへ行っても、欲しい物が何もないことが何度もありました。なければ自分で作ろうと思ったのが、きっかけでした。自分が欲しいもののイメージは明確にあります。トルソに布をあて、衝動のままカットし、型紙はとらず、世界に１つだけの作品を生み出す。既成の概念よりも、自分の衝動のままに作ること。ときにそれはとても勇気が要ることです。これはパンクと同じ行為なのと、キャリアのスタートをバッグ制作から始めたので、メゾンの名前をモヒカンポシェットと名付けました。

Sometimes, that requires courage.This courage is the same spirit as punk. Also, the beginning of the brand started with pochette production. Both of these, I named the brand mohikanpochette.

- 素材の仕入れは、パリを中心にその時々によって世界各地を訪れています。バルセロナ・ロンドン・台北他、様々な素材があります。同じ場所へ仕入れに行っても、素材は同じものはほとんど手に入りません。その時に出会った素材の表情を、大切にしています。
- 立体裁断で型紙を採らず、ひとつのデザインにサイズもひとつなので、作品は全て完全１点もののオリジナルです。自分と全く同じ人がいないように、服もこの服１点しかないという誇りと美意識を持って日々制作しています。
- 企画展毎にテーマを変えますので、常に新しいイメージと想像力で、モヒカンポシェットの世界観を創造していきます。
